Clicker Canines is dedicated to my dog
Teeya, my first purely trained clicker dog.
Teeya you were such a great dog, words
can't express everything we went
through together and you always went
with the flow. I thank you for all the
lessons you taught me.

This is Mookie, he was rescued in Tennessee from
Bonaparte Retreat rescue group. I adopted Mookie on
October 12, 2010 at 11 months old. He had a rough
start in life; he was picked up by animal control at 3
months and then lived a month in a shelter. He had a
couple of owners, and then found me, his forever
home.
I’ll never forget the day I found him. It was Pet
Appreciation Day in Tennessee and at several
locations there were rescue groups adopting out
dogs. So, I stopped by one location and there were a
ton of dogs in crates. I interacted with a few of them
but none was the right fit for my family. As I walked up
to a new location, the lady asked me what I was
looking for and I said, "a highly social dog that is great
with kids and other dogs." The lady said, "well you
need that dog, Mookie, over there," and the rest was
history. He was such a friendly dog, loved to be with
people, and was great when interacting with my
daughter. His temperament was exactly what I wanted
in a dog. Mookie is the perfect match for our family.

Below is Mama Kitty aka Makey. She is a loving, spoiled kitty and she knows it. She comes when called every time and greets you at
the door, too. She was also rescued by me and I am so happy that I did.
